The Oracle is complete! I’m very pleased with how this one turned out since it combines old and new personal aesthetics. She’s all framed up and ready to go to the It’s Alive Exhibition at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. It’s a horror themed show going up just in time for Halloween. If you’re in the area between August 5 to October 31, 2016 you should stop in and check it out!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, so I thought I’d share a little wip with you guys. I’m still debating on how I want to execute the final piece, so working digitally is a great way to experiment without ruining the original sketch. 👍
Sorry for the radio silence folks! I’ve been experimenting with other social media platforms and have been conflicted as to what kind of blog I want this to be.

New series, new subjects.
Elves with dark pasts for the win!
So, recently I traded some of my old childhood treasures for some new Windsor Newton watercolors. To test them out, I did a small postcard watercolor illustration of my grandmother. Made some masks for the Halloween parade. 🙂
